Cairo - JOB TITLE: CHIEF ACCOUNTANT FUNCTION: Finance/Accounting REPORTING STRUCTURE Reports to: Financial and Administration Manager Direct Supervision of: Team of 7 covering General Accounting, Account Receivable, Account Payable, Banks Treasury, Costing, Inventory control , Budget.(Manufacturing) POSITION OBJECTIVE:  To organize all general accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely accounting systems and financial reports.  To support Re-Implementation ERP system. DUTIES... & RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Tasks 1. Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations. 2. Ensures proper recording of all company transactions supervises monthly and end-of-year closing of the general ledger. 3. Ensures maintenance of the computerized accounting system and chart of accounts, applying adequate backup and control procedures. 4. Review and approve payment vouchers & journal entries. 5. Monitors the applied accounting system and recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures... - Permanent - Full-time
