Chief Accountant

Kuwait - Our client is a one of the most prominent contractors and service providers in the region based in Kuwait. Established in 1996 - construction is their strong suit. This role will be office based, not construction site based. The Role The Chief Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the accounting function to maintain accuracy, integrity and reliability of the company's accounts and financial statements. With 6+ years experience and at least five working in a similar role with a similar business - construction/oil and gas/ industrial/ manufacturing/ engineering/ shipping and marine industry, the candidate will ideally be CMA certified and must be proficient in ERD systems. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance/Accounting. Professional certification CPA/CA/CFA or CMA is preferable.
