Chief Accountant

Kuwait City - Key Accountabilities: Compiles and analyzes financial & management information for submission to the Finance Director and MD. Maintains accurate and reliable financial information. Ensures that Accounts are maintained in English and Arabic to recognized international standard. Also, that all accounting practices comply with the Accounting standards, Company policy. Deals with Banks on a regular basis regarding utilization of working capital facilities. Performs... other functions, which may be assigned by the Finance Director and Managing Director. Responsible for fixed assets control and verification. Responsible for following finance & accounting policies in his area of work i.e. General Ledger/Bank work, fixed asset accounting. Interacts with external audit staff to ensure effective and timely completion of audit.
