The purpose of the role will be to perform the broad spectrum of financial accounting related to tasks within the upstream area. The primary function is the responsibility to analyze and prepare inputs for internal reports, statutory reports, and quarterly closing. Suitable applicants will have performed this function previously within an International Oil Company... (IOC) or publically traded National Oil Company (NOC). An in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as it applies to Oil & Gas companies is essential. Experience with international exchange listing venue filing requirements would also be considered an asset.
