SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - GENERAL LEDGER

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - GENERAL LEDGER This IS A SENIOR POSITION AND WILL ENSURE ALL ACCOUNTING ACTIVITIES ARE PERFORMED IN A TIMELY AND EFFICIENT MANNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY policies and accoutning standards. This role will be a critical part of the accounting department . - implement financial accounting strategies, plans, policies and procedures - Conduct GL closing activities ensuring that they are completed in accordance to the guidelines... set by Finance Department - Prepare Monthly , quarterly and year end financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards (IAS) - Analyze and reconcile expenditures and revenue accounts. - Liaison with external and Internal Auditors - Reconcile the general ledger and control accounts Qualification and experience - University degree in a related field. CA, CPA or ACCA preferred - 5 to 8 years of experience in similar position, preferable in Manufacturing company... - Permanent - Full-time
